Clear Local Data

If you are running low on device storage, or no longer need any data from the project, you can delete the downloaded files from your device storage.

To clear local data

  1. Open a project in Trimble Connect for Mobile.

  2. Tap the Menu button at the top of the page.

  3. Tap Project Settings in the side menu.

  4. Tap Clear Local Data.

  5. An alert message will display .

  6. Tap Yes.

Only need to remove a single file?

If you only want to remove a single file from your storage see Remove Downloaded Files.

Unit Settings

Set the standard units to be used throughout the project. Trimble Connect has expanded units settings for the project system and allows users to specify display precision on each unit e.g. Length, Area, Volume Angle and Measurements Length. Unit setting support varies by application.

To set the project units

  1. Open a project in Trimble Connect for Mobile.

  2. Tap the Menu button at the top of the page.

  3. Tap Project Settings in the side menu.

  4. Tap Unit Settings.

  5. Select the Unit system: Imperial (decimal), Imperial (fractional), Metric, or Custom.

  6. Select the unit of measure and display precision for distance, area, volume, weight and angle.

  7. Tap Save ✔
