Supported File Formats

Connect for Mobile currently opens only the following Point Cloud file types - .potree , .purl

NOTE : For .potree file type only files can be launched , not the views.

Launch Files and Views

To launch files and views

  • Point cloud file type .purl , .potree can now be launched from Connect for Mobile app.

  • Views created from .purl files can also be launched from Connect for Mobile.

  • You will need to be online to launch this file type.

  • The files and views of .purl file type will be launched in Web 3D Viewer.

NOTE

  1. Point cloud files can be added to Connect project only through Connect for Windows (documentation)

  2. .PURL format point clouds require using an external potree streaming server. The potree streaming server is not part of Connect.
